Description: We need a skilled individual or team to extract or duplicate a memory configuration database. We just need the data extracted and put into a MySQL database or Excel file, in a format we will create (we will create the tables, and may consult with you as to how we should organize it).

We need all major companies systems (laptops, desktops, servers, network equipment) data replicated to make our own configurator. This project is just for the data collection and organization, and no programming skill is really required, however you should be familiar with MySQL (preferably) or Excel.

I would consider this a large project, and something that would be done over time in parts. I have specified this as a very large project so you can estimate what you would charge to do all major systems cataloged which take DDR memory and Up to current modules, by all major manufacturers (apple,averatec,dell,hp,compaq,cisco,ibm,and probably a handful more for starters), for each system they make (desktop,laptop,server,router). And what each system takes (i.e 4 slots, max 2gb, ECC or not, and other information like that).

However, we may want someone who is willing to do it in parts on a project by project pay basis, so bid keeping that in mind as well.

In the end, we will be creating something similar to http://www.crucial.com/ and http://www.kingston.com memory configurators.
